1. Open a PDF and click Insert > Rubber Stamp
You can then add one of the standard stamps provided by Edi, or click Create New Stamp to create a custom stamp. Existing custom stamps will appear below the button Create New Stamp.
If you create a new stamp, you can customize the following options:
Stamp Text - The text which will appear in your stamp
Font Style - You can modify the font of your stamp and the font style (bold, italics, underlined or strikethrough)
Text Color - You can modify the color of the text used for your stamp either by selecting a color from the color selector or typing its HEX code
Background Color - You can modify the background color of your stamp either by selecting a color from the color selector or typing its HEX code
Timestamp Text - This option adds the username, date and time that the stamp was used
Date Format - From this dropdown, you can select the format of the date and time which appears as part of the stamp
Here is an example custom stamp
2. Click the stamp to select it
3. Place the stamp in the PDF file by using your mouse or touchscreen device and clicking the location where the stamp will be placed. Once the stamp has been placed, you can use the Flatten Annotation option to ensure the stamp cannot be edited (recommended).
4. In order to make use of this option, click your stamp > Flatten Annotation > Confirm
5. You’re all set!
